Q&A
Q1.How long can I expect the light from Lumitector?
A: The luminescent material used in the Lumitector has been recently developed in Japan.
It is made from a combination of rare materials and contains no radioactive or harmful substances.
Once exposed to sunlight or the light from a fluorescent lamp for over 30 minutes, the Lumitector will glow in the dark for the next 6-8 hours.
This is more than enough for you to use your Palm in the dark, whether finalizing tomorrow's schedule
last thing at night, jotting down memos on a long haul flight, or simple writing down the various ideas and thoughts that come to mind regardless of the time of day.
Please try the Lumitector for yourself and experience its numerous uses.
Q2. How do you fit the Lumitector?
A: We recommend you fit the Lumitector in as clean a place as possible. If dust is
trapped underneath the film it will affect the Lumitector's performance.
First, remove all dirt and fingerprint marks from your Palm's LCD surface
using a mild detergent. The peel off layer of the Lumitector is divided into two and so is
easier to fit than other protective films. Holding the printed portion of the film so as not
to dirty the transparent part, peel off the top section of the Lumitector and place the top
two corners into the top two corners of your Palm's LCD screen. You can try this again
and again until the two corners match perfectly. Then simply remove the lower section
of the Lumitector and fit it snugly to your Palm's screen.
Q3. How do I remove the Lumitector?
A: You can easily remove the Lumitector using Sellotape/Scotch tape.
Stick some tape to one of the corners and simple peel the film off gently.
Because the sticky side of the Lumitector is made from silicon, it will not leave any
sticky residue on the surface of your Palm's screen.
Please do not attempt to remove the Lumitector using a pen or other sharp object as this may damage the screen.
